Wow! It’s almost Thanksgiving! It seems like last month we were telling you all we became a 501(C)(3) nonprofit. This year has been amazing! So far we have raised $21,120 for not only children in Uganda but we did a fundraiser for our board member, Bryan, and raised $4,927. As of October 25th, $13,057 has been given to care for vulnerable children in Uganda. Also, $3,136 was given to cover admin costs! How amazing! We are so grateful!
In 2016, $11,315 was given to care for the children and we were not even a nonprofit! For next year, we are praying and believing for an increase in monthly donors along with the ability to start focusing on self-sustaining projects. Please be praying about grants.
More exciting news! We have a new website! Check it out and let us know what you think! Alex, a web developer who resides in Germany, donated his time to partner with us and update our website. We are so thankful for his heart and willingness to serve!
Also, Alex will be traveling to visit Lufafa in December. Please keep him in your prayers.
We have another great opportunity for LCM, Realize Giving. You or someone you know can allow their home sale to benefit Lord’s Compassion Ministry. Anyone buying a home anywhere in the world can participate. Read more about it at http://lordscompassionministry.org/realize-giving/ or www.realizegiving.org/lordscompassionministry
I want to encourage you all to tell people about LCM and why you support children! We now have brochures on our website which you can print and use to share with others. http://lordscompassionministry.org/brochures/
Please let us know if you have any questions about sharing with others how LCM is part of your story. We would love to see our donors hosting events to share about the work being done!
Lastly, we have a mailbox for LCM. Maybe donating electronically is not your thing, now you can mail checks or money orders to:
